Talk by world-leading medical expert, Professor Basant K. Puri, on the natural treatment of M.E. and Fibromyalgia for World Fibromyalgia Day and M.E. Awareness Week
Leading researcher Professor Puri has been invited as Guest Speaker to a meeting held in association with the Fibromyalgia Support group for Surrey & Sussex, entitled “A Natural Way to Treat M.E. and Fibromyalgia” to raise awareness of these conditions for both World Fibromyalgia Day and M.E. Awareness Week . It will take place at 10.30 on Friday 11th May in the Roffey Millennium Hall on Crawley Road in Horsham, with the aim of raising awareness of the latest research into these debilitating conditions.
In this talk, Professor Puri will provide an overview of the conditions, their causes, differing treatment approaches set in an historical context, as well as the developments to date. The crux of his talk will focus on his own treatment approach, which has attracted much attention due to his extremely positive results. This talk will also address why most people lack essential nutrients in their diet, and how health problems may subsequently arise. The talk will conclude with a questions and answers session.
Professor Basant K. Puri is both Consultant at Hammersmith Hospital and Head of the Lipid Neurosciences Group at Imperial College, London. His treatment approach and research findings have been published in authoritative medical journals, attracting significant attention in the medical world, contributing to his reputation as a world-leading expert.
Professor Puri is the author of over 130 scientific papers and 30 books, including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A Natural Way to Treat M.E and The Natural Way to Treat Depression. He is regularly invited as guest speaker to international medical conferences, and his recent television appearances on the BBC, Channel Four, ITV and Sky News, and his latest involvement as independent expert for BBC2’s flagship Science series, Horizon, on the programme entitled Could Fish Make my Child Smart? further denote his credibility.
